The Headliners are: B-17 - Sentimental Journey from the Arizona Commemorative Air Force and a P-51 Mustang from Vintage Wings of Canada.

Once again SAIT Polytechnic – Art Smith Aero Centre will be sponsoring the event by letting us use their ramp and apron to display these fantastic aircraft.
There will also be some great activities as part of the event that you won’t want to miss out on.

Keep your eyes peeled to the sky for a glimpse of the B-17 in the air as it does a 20 minute flight over the city.
Friday, August 24th : Night Run-Up Observer Tickets- Gates Open at 9:00pm
Tickets for the Night Photography Shoot are now closed. However, you can still purchase Observer tickets for $10.00. You can still take photos. You just won't be on the ramp.
Saturday, August 25th, 9:00am – 4:00pm: WARBIRD U
Technical Ground School for the P-51 Mustang at the museum. Learn all the nuts & bolts you can handle.
This course is presented by Vintage Wings of Canada and includes lunch, a hero shot in cockpit of the Mustang, and manual with the nitty gritty details.
Go to Vintage Wings of Canada’s website to get an idea of what is all involved with a Warbird U. Cost is $250 (or $200 if you have a Vintage of Wings of Canada membership). Registration available now!

An evening of fine food and drink and even better conversation as you get to mingle with fellow aviation enthusiasts and crew members of the various Warbirds at the Expo.
Saturday & Sunday, August 25 & 26th
Two amazing days to come view a great line-up of Warbird aviation history as well as all the aircraft that are part of SAIT Polytechnic – Art Smith Aero Centre and the Aero Space Museum. The SAIT Polytechnic campus will be open until 6pm on these two days to view the aircraft line-up. Your ticket can be used on Saturday or Sunday but not both.
Book Signings Saturday & Sunday, August 25 & 26th
Gregory Liefer will be present at the museum from 1pm-4pm on August 25th to sign his book Aviation Mysteries of the North.
Peter Seville-Roe will be present at the museum from 1pm-4pm on August 26th to sign his two new books Pigs Might Fly: The First Steps and Pigs Might Fly: The Gliders & Hoppers.
The tickets for these signings will reserve you copies of the books as limited copies will be available.
